It was raining heavily, and we almost went to SM instead, but luckily the rain stopped, so we decided to go back to this restaurant. It was our first time here, and I’ve been wanting to try it since it’s the top recommendation on Google. We ordered Pad Thai, Nasi Goreng, shrimp, spring rolls, pork, chicken satay, Thai beef salad, and mango sticky rice. The first dish that arrived was the Pad Thai — it was flavorful, and the fresh bean sprouts added a nice crunch. The chicken satay and spring rolls also tasted great and weren’t too salty. We finished everything except the Thai beef salad because we were already full. The mango sticky rice came last — it wasn’t too sweet, and the flavor was authentic. Overall, the food definitely lives up to the reviews! The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, but since we came after lunch, we were the only customers at that time.

If you're in Naga and are craving for Asian food especially from countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, give SOI a try. I loved the satay (extra peanut sauce, extra cost), char kway teow (passable if you've not had it for 15 years like me) but the murtabak was a little of a let down and the curry sauce was not too authentic BUT overall, it still does have the taste of Asia. Parking is along the street by the side of SOI. Good for two vehicles.

Plenty of servings for an affordable price. Love the juice and the pad thai. If only the food was served hot, especially the steak, it would've been perfect.

We were excited to try Satay's food. The flavors truly captured the essence of Southeast Asian cuisine — rich, bold, and authentic. The spices in the dishes were well-balanced, and the presentation was thoughtful. We ordered Milktea and the beef curry, which we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, the beef turned out to be quite tough and difficult to chew (makunat pa). It would have been much more enjoyable if it had been cooked longer to achieve that tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture typical of good curry.

very surprised by the quality and the fine taste, even the beef was not rubber but tender and was a delight for the palate

It’s quite a popular place. Food was okay. If you aren’t a fan of spicy food and curry, then you better ask them about the menu. It took a long time for our orders to be served. The mango in the sticky rice was sour. I did love the rose milk tea and rose drink with calamansi. One thing too was that it was hard to find parking.

Great place to go for a change of pace for your taste buds. Stellar service and atmosphere, at shockingly reasonable prices for the food. Will definitely go back with new people in tow multiple times while ordering different items from the menu.
