One the best place for high-end shopping in guwahati. Large number of brands are available under one roof. Unique collection of cloths are in every store. I liked shoppers stop for their polite behaviour. Pros- Everything under one roof. Beautifully decorated. Cons- You have walk alot lift positions are bad.

I have no complaints against PVR as a brand, but the experience at this particular outlet was disappointing due to the attitude and handling by the security staff and the manager, Mr. Gobinda. The security guards and the manager behaved as if they were government officials on duty for public morality rather than employees meant to assist paying customers. Courtesy and basic flexibility were completely missing. We had booked 7 tickets for “Dhudhandhar”, and admittedly made an honest mistake by forgetting that it was an 18+ movie. We were accompanied by our infant baby, who was asleep, as it was a night show. I fully understand and respect the rules and regulations regarding age restrictions—that part is not the issue. After a long discussion, Mr. Gobinda finally agreed to allow only one person to watch the movie. To manage the situation, I even purchased an additional ticket so I could accompany my wife and our baby, hoping this would resolve things amicably. However, when we entered the hall, we realized that the entire cinema was completely empty—it was just us. At that moment, the rigid stance taken earlier felt unnecessary and extremely frustrating. This only highlighted how poorly the situation was handled from the start. Instead of offering a reasonable alternative—such as allowing us to switch to another movie—the team chose to be rigid, unprofessional, and unempathetic. There was no genuine attempt to assist or de-escalate, despite us being paying customers who had already spent a significant amount. We expected better customer handling, especially from a premium cinema brand like PVR. Rules are important, but attitude, common sense, and empathy matter just as much. Hopefully, this feedback is taken seriously and the staff is trained to be more polite, flexible, and customer-oriented. We genuinely hope to have a better experience next time.

Visiting PVR City Centre Guwahati was mostly a good experience. The hall was clean, seats were comfortable, and the sound & picture quality were impressive. The ambience is upscale and ideal for a relaxed movie outing. The mall location makes food + movie combo super convenient. On the downside: ticket prices are on the higher side, food/snacks are quite expensive, and they ran a lot of ads before the show which delayed things. Overall, worth it if you want comfort & quality.

PVR Cinemas at City Centre Mall Guwahati offers a fantastic movie experience in the heart of the city. The screens are big with excellent picture clarity and powerful sound quality that truly enhances every scene. Seats are comfortable, ambience is clean, and staff behavior is polite and helpful. A perfect place to enjoy the latest movies with friends and family. 🎬🍿✨

I had a very disappointing experience at PVR Cinemas in City Centre Mall on 3rd March during the 8:45 p.m. show of the movie “O Romeo.” I went with my husband expecting a relaxing movie night, but the experience was extremely frustrating. Although the hall looked clean when we entered, the biggest problem was the screen quality, which was absolutely terrible. The screen was extremely dark throughout the movie. Many scenes were almost impossible to see because the brightness was so low. On top of that, the picture was very blurry and unclear, as if the projection was not set properly. Even worse, the screen kept shaking continuously during the movie. The picture was not stable at all, making it very uncomfortable to watch. Because of the darkness, blur, and constant shaking, we could barely understand what was happening on the screen. Only the audio was clear — the visuals were beyond hopeless. Another major issue was that the AC in the hall was not working. Despite requesting the staff several times to switch it on, nothing was done. The hall became very warm and uncomfortable, and it was clear that other viewers were also suffering. People come to a theatre like PVR expecting a proper cinematic experience, but unfortunately this was one of the worst theatre experiences we have ever had. Poor screen quality and lack of basic facilities like AC are simply unacceptable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that such issues are fixed immediately so that other customers do not have to face the same unpleasant experience.

Visiting the City we can see the Inequality of India as inside AC, Luxury and Double Standard Globalized People and outside just near few metres Poors and Marginalised People....If someone wants to see the effect of LPG 1991 Evolution then you should check the Place...it's better for travelling through The Capitalistic Market place.
