A place where you can go and refresh your mind. A wonderful picnic spot also. From Narengi it's about 10km far away. Easy to access. Roads are also good. But there are not sufficient parking slot. Just because of river Brahmaputra the place is more beautiful. Otherwise there are nothing special for amusement. For better healing this place is suitable.

It's a nice place to hang out with friends and family, good place for picnic also, has boat ride facility, parking fee for two wheeler is 50rs, visiting fee is 50rs. Should be well maintain by the authorities.

The Lonely Tree is truly a beautiful place to visit. The surroundings are well maintained, clean, and give off a peaceful vibe that makes it worth the trip. The entry fee is very minimal, which feels fair for the experience you get. However, the one thing I didn’t like was the parking charge for two-wheelers. It felt a bit unnecessary considering the entry fee is already affordable. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to spend some quiet time, but the parking system could definitely be improved.

Worst place to visit. They charge 300 rs for car parking. If you carry food items they also charge extra. On our visit we found that cremation is going on nearby. No cleanliness at all. A very bad place to visit. Don't go. Lots of good picnic places are there. don't waste your money here.

Not recommending anyone to visit this place. Pathetic environment dirty with packets, and itenaries, charging 25rs per person as entry fees which doesn't feel legible and the car parkings charging 100rs to 150rs per car as if its the monopoly of the people residing here. The behaviour is rude, unprofessional and unethical towards tourist. People who are allowing for car parking don't behave in a manner of calling tourists here, they act as if they are the all in all here. I understand keeping the place safe and sound but making the place unfavourable for person to visit with no proper informations. Hope the committee changes and make it happen good for all. As of now not recommending anyone to visit the place.

One of good place in Guwahati which is known as The lonely tree because there have only one tree in the rock in the river Bank of Brahmaputra... You can enjoy the river view, the peace full wind blow here , fresh air , silence, etc.... it's one kind of adventure like place, there have entery fee each 25 rupees and also parking extra for bike 20 rupees and for car 50 rupees, just awesome natural place...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The lonely tree, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, a fun adventure, or just a quick escape from the daily grind,The lonely tree has something for everyone. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning my next visit!

I visited in the month of June. The place was somewhat smaller than i expected. There's a shiva temple and in the backside of it there's the lonely tree. The views are good. But don't expect too much. You can just go for like half an hour to sit and chill there.
