The name Gold is a joke — the experience doesn’t even qualify as plastic. Honestly, it feels more like a haunted house screening films than a proper cinema. 1. Parking Disaster – Cramped, dirty, and filled with a weird smell. Finding a decent spot is a struggle, and stepping out feels like entering a dump yard. 2. Bathroom Horror – No hooks, no hygiene, nothing. Completely unmaintained. Public washrooms are cleaner and more functional than this mess. 3. Zero Ambience – Dark, creepy, with broken or faded interiors. Feels more like a neglected building than a space meant for entertainment. 4. No Food Choices – Only popcorn available. No proper snacks or drinks. It’s like they forgot people come here for a full experience, not just sitting. Suggestion: Invest in basic repairs, upgrade hygiene, and improve ambience. If that requires increasing ticket prices, go ahead — people are willing to pay more for a clean, pleasant, and enjoyable experience. Right now, even free entry wouldn’t tempt me back.

Worst cinema hall in Guwahati. People openly taking drugs and lying on the floor with no action from staff. Filthy seats with gum everywhere, terrible screen, non-functional AC and awful sound.

Nice ambience and the price of tickets are the best part of this cinema hall as they are so cheap and affordable for middle class people. I strongly suggest this place to watch movies.

Value for money. The ticket price is the cheapest among all cinemas of Guwahati city. Prices are ₹118, ₹100 and ₹80 only. Situated in Narengi tiniali. Parking is congested. Food court is also available in the same floor. Once again its value for money

Having been waiting for more than an hour to get tickets at the counter but still no one at the counter.

Why does the phone number do not work?? Neither Gold Paltan Bazar nor Gold Narengi. Proper phone numbers should be provided. The ones mentioned do no work. Either remove the numbers or add the new numbers which work. Pathetic.

Waste of money for watching a movie here no washroom facility and food quality is also not good

Great place to spend an evening... Food court and everything is available.... But parking is slightly congested and recent road work causes water logging... However it is temporary...
