Very reasonable stay at a posh area with good food

Manipur Bhavan in Guwahati is a convenient option for travelers from Manipur. The location is good, and the rooms are decent but could be better maintained. Staff service is helpful but can be slow at times. Basic amenities are available, but cleanliness and upkeep need improvement. Suitable for a short stay.

Good experience except that the bedsheet and pillow cover needs proper washing and change with the change of stay

Its location Shown at google is wrong. It’s actual location is at around 100m from GS road towards freedom fighters road/ ASEB road Baralu river. Visited on 24/04/25 evening, Entrance gate morcha needs renovation. Duty person at morcha, reception & stall should be shown some attentions to the visitor besides their phones. Needs some professionalism. Foods were so tasty, very hygienic and so cheap, highly recommended.

It's nice place to stay at low cost but you have take a permission from General and Administration Department from Manipur Government and rooms will be allocated as par the present vacancy of the Bhawan but the quality of Canteen food is not Good and hardly available the Manipur traditional cuisine.

The campus and the location is good enough and even the halls are neat but the rooms are little messy and could be cleaner and the people living there should have the privilege to book a room alone. Otherwise the location is great even the view from the room is great.
